Marisha Wallace

Marisha Wallace originated the role of Becky in Waitress the Musical at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End.

The show was her second West End starring performance, having been an understudy Effie in Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre, just across the road from the Adelphi Theatre on the Strand. Whilst in the US, Marisha starred in the First National Tour of the Tony Award-winning musical The Book of Mormon as well as being part of the original cast of Disney’s Aladdin, originating the role of the Fortune Teller.

Marisha’s voice can be heard in Disney’s 2019 live-action remake of “Aladdin,” where she has the line, “still I think he’s rather tasty.”

Marisha is a recording artist in her own right, and has released an album entitled “Soul Holiday.” She left the show on 11 October 2019, and went onto support fellow Waitress alumni, Todrick Hall on his European tour, in support of her single, ‘Fight Like A Woman (Slay)’.
